This is a story well over five years in the making. Priscilla and Steven met in college, and although they weren’t in a relationship then or immediately afterwards, they reunited three years later and felt a strong connection. Continuing for a couple of years in a long-distance relationship, their bond grew even stronger. Their love story added a new chapter on August 24th when they were joined together in marriage.
Priscilla and Steven were all smiles all day! Priscilla’s beautiful wedding gown had just the right amount of sparkle (one of Priscilla’s favorite things). It was shimmering, had a subtle fit and flare silhouette, cap sleeves and lace from head to toe. Stunning!
Their wedding ceremony took place outside at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie, PA. It’s a handsome, rustic lodge and ski resort in the mountains of Lehigh County. Jackie & Daughter Flower Shop created graceful bouquets and decorated the venue in delightful swags and floral arrangements in deep purples, lavenders and teals. Their theme color was decidedly purple, with Priscilla’s bridesmaids in bright violet knee-length satin dresses.
We could see that Priscilla paid a great deal of attention to details and had every angle covered for her wedding day! She made the canvas signs on the easels outside the Mountain Ballroom at Bear Creek as well as many other decorations and favors at the wedding. She even made that fantastic ‘Here She Comes’ sign that her little nephew carried down the aisle to announce her arrival for the outdoor ceremony. And to encourage her guests to have fun and dance at the reception, she asked them to write down their song requests ahead of time. What a wonderful idea!
The reception followed their beautiful outdoor ceremony in the Mountain Ballroom at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Celebrations Disc Jockey and Photography pulled double-duty in providing the perfect music for the affair and capturing photos of the wedding day. And a fun time was had by all at the reception! It was wonderful that the guests were all staying at the resort as they were free to party well into the evening.
It was a marvelous wedding and such a joy to film the love that Priscilla and Steven have for each other. A new and sweet chapter of their lives has just begun… We wish them all the happiness in the world. Congratulations to Priscilla and Steven!
