We were so excited to visit this countryside venue for the first time and truly, even more delighted to be working with this sweet couple on their beautiful wedding day.
Alexandra and Tyler met on a popular dating app, and Tyler chose Alexandra's longtime best friend's home to ask her to be his wife. She was so surprised, and of course, said 'yes!'. They followed up the joyous moment with a special dinner to celebrate with family and friends.
Fast forward now to their fantastic wedding day! Alexandra got ready at Brook Hollow Winery, the amazing rustic chic venue where their ceremony and reception would later be held. After changing out of their matching peach pj's, the bridal party wore bright, springy shades of lavender, lilac and violet for the event. They all carried beautiful, lush floral bouquets from Bonnie Hill Farm Flowers in watercolor shades of these same delightful theme colors.
Tyler prepared for his day at a nearby private residence. His groomsmen joined him there as they dressed into their black tuxedos with coordinating neckties. Tyler's classic attire included a black bow tie to stand apart from his best man and groomsmen. They all looked so fantastic!
And Alexandra was such a gorgeous bride in her beautiful wedding gown! Her strapless dress had a sweetheart neckline, a fit and flare silhouette and delicate floral appliqués throughout. She wore her long hair back in a very loose braid, and in it she fastened a coordinating, mid-length veil for much of the day. Stunning!
We absolutely adored seeing Alexandra's father's emotional first look at his beautiful daughter. Then Tyler made his way to their venue where he and Alexandra had their special first look. We love all the first look moments, especially as the bride and groom anxiously await their very first sight of each other all dressed up for the big day. Each one is so emotional and exciting! And as always, it was fantastic to be working with one of our absolute favorite photographers, Drew Noel and his great team.
After romantic walks through the vineyards, Alexandra and Tyler were ready to make it official. The couple's personalized wedding ceremony was held in front of the open air pavilion at Brook Hollow Winery, beautifully decorated with romantic, gauzy fabric and a gorgeous floral swag. We especially loved the little flowers in mason jars that adorned the aisle chairs. After the beautiful message was given, Alexandra and Tyler recited their own personal marriage vows, exchanged rings and kissed for the first time as 'husband and wife'!
Formal introductions of the wedding party and the couple of honor came next in the spacious, yet cozy and warm ballroom at Brook Hollow Winery. Alexandra and Tyler had their sweet first dance 'on a cloud', followed by sentimental dances with their parents.
The blessing was given before the buffet opened to guests, then we were treated so such well-written toasts, straight from the heart, from Alexandra's sister and matron of honor and from Tyler's best man. They both shared great stories from the past! Once the dance floor opened, Magic Moments kept guests entertained and out on the dance floor for the entire night!
The evening concluded with delicious treats from dessert trucks and dancing until that last call was given. What a beautiful, romantic day they shared and such a fun night this was! Congratulations and best wishes to Alexandra and Tyler!
