Chelsea and Dylan almost missed their connection... not once or twice, but three times! But thankfully, love always finds a way in the end. The two met originally when Chelsea agreed to an evening out with a coworker at a historic bar in New York, but actually found herself as a third wheel on her coworker's date. As it turns out, Dylan was that coworker's date! The two had a great time that night at the bar, playing darts and talking, but then that was it.
A year went by and as fate would have it, they both found themselves on the same dating app! They each swiped right, remembering the fun time they had the year before, and a match was made. But then nothing happened once again. Yet another year went by and Chelsea and Dylan were again on the same dating app. They found each other and swiped right again... but this time, they actually met up! Enjoying themselves as they had years earlier and talking the night away, they both knew they had found 'the one'. And this time, they didn't let each other go!
Fast forward now to their beautiful wedding day at The Mansion at Natirar in Peapack & Gladstone, New Jersey. The couple got ready, held their ceremony and their reception all at this gorgeous venue. The enchanting, countryside setting with its stately mansion at the top of the hill is the perfect setting for a romantic summer wedding. Jenny Orsini Events did a wonderful job in planning and organizing this fantastic wedding event.
Chelsea and her bridal party got ready that morning in the mansion's bridal suite. The ladies all dressed in cute, coordinating silk pj's as they had their hair and makeup finalized. They certainly made time to celebrate, too! Chelsea popped the cork on a champagne bottle and the bridal party all toasted the bride on her wedding day!
Dylan also celebrated by popping champagne bottles with his best man and groomsmen, with some bottles popping all by themselves! ;) The guys got dressed and ready at Ninety Acres, the restaurant onsite at Natirar. They all looked so fantastic in their classic black tuxedos.
And Chelsea dressed into her gorgeous wedding gown from Berta. Her dress had beautiful sequins and appliqués throughout, a form-fitting mermaid silhouette and a dramatic plunging neckline. She was so absolutely beautiful!
Before leaving their rooms, the couple exchanged love notes and read them for us and for their film. Then, it was time for their first look outside on the grounds at Natirar. It was so cute how Dylan couldn't take his eyes off Chelsea when he turned around to see her for the first time that day.
Our friend and one truly fantastic photographer, Paul with wonderful second shooter, Rachel from Paul Francis Photography, photographed the first look and all the day's events for Chelsea and Dylan. We always love working with them and we could see how much Chelsea, Dylan and their wedding party felt the same!
Chelsea and Dylan's ceremony was held under a beautiful, modern chuppah overflowing with white blooms and baby's breath from Jardiniere Fine Flowers. The traditional Jewish ceremony, led by Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, included the seven blessings given from their friends and family. And there were so many very personalized moments, too!
Following their ceremony, Chelsea and Dylan enjoyed another photo shoot with Paul as the sun set on the horizon. Check out some of the amazing photos from the sunset shoot and from the whole day on his Facebook page!
Then it was time to party! The wedding party's entrance was announced in the Mansion Ballroom, leading to the formal introduction of the newest Mr. and Mrs.! Chelsea and Dylan, truly all-smiles all day long, led into their first, perfectly choreographed dance as newlyweds. This was followed by the celebratory Hora as everyone jumped on the dance floor and danced! We always love seeing the couple and their parents hoisted up on those chairs!
As guests sat down, the hamotzi, the blessing, was given over the bread by Chelsea's father and we heard beautiful toasts from Dylan's parents. This was followed by wedding tradition in Dylan's family: the shared shotski! Chelsea's parents gave a beautiful, and very funny, toast to the couple of honor, then, Chelsea's father and Dylan's mother had their opportunity to dance with their children on their very special day.
Chelsea and Dylan's loved ones, including some who did a fantastic job filling in at the last minute, congratulated and toasted the couple with both cute and heartfelt speeches about their shared experiences and their love for the couple. It was wonderful to hear such an outpouring of love and support for Chelsea and Dylan.
Then, the dance floor at Natirar opened again and remained totally packed and truly electrified! The Frank Simmons Band from Hank Lane Music kept everyone pumped, partying and on that floor all night!
Congratulations and best wishes today and always to Chelsea and Dylan! Mazel Tov!
