Gianna and AJ are a sweet couple who held their ceremony earlier in the year, then gathered all their friends and family on a later date for the big celebration at their reception!
The team at Cord 3 Films has known AJ and Gianna for several years and it was such a pleasure to film this wonderful occasion for them. And it was so wonderful to meet their two cute little girls, too! What sweethearts!
The Lucy in center city Philadelphia, one of the newest venues for Cescaphe Event Group, was the location they chose for their reception, and it really was such a lovely decision. The Lucy is so glamorous, modern and elegant and just perfect for a black and white wedding event.
The day began with those morning preparations: hair and makeup for the bride and bridal party and then dressing and final primping and preening for all. With her mother, bridesmaids and maid of honor all wearing matching black silk pajamas, they toasted Gianna in celebrating this day! In a separate location, AJ dressed into his classic black tuxedo with a little loving assistance from his parents. You could see just how proud they were and how excited everyone was for this day to arrive!
Gianna then dressed into her gorgeous wedding gown. With its plunging deep-v neckline, open back design and fabulous sparkling beadwork throughout, her dress was simply stunning. Gianna was such a beautiful bride!
Gianna and AJ walked down the grand staircase at The Lucy into the ballroom hand in hand, and Cescaphe saluted the couple with those exciting sparklers. We loved that dramatic entrance! They danced a sweet first dance together, and included their daughters in the action, of course!
And after those warm and sincere toasts from family, the party really kicked off! That dance floor was jumping and so tightly packed, all evening long! We even saw some breakdancing and 'the worm' that night! Everyone had such a ball laughing, dancing and celebrating the lasting love shared by Gianna and AJ.
