The rain was over and the spring weather was ideal for this fantastic wedding event! And speaking of perfect things, this bride and groom couldn’t be more made for each other. Both Dana and Roy are the sweetest, most gentle, laid back people! We had so much fun with them during their entire day, from those early afternoon preparations to the end of the evening’s celebration.
On their wedding day, each got ready at Alpine Country Club, the stately venue where their entire wedding event would be taking place. Amy Chin was in charge of hair and makeup for the bridal party. After hair and makeup was just right, they dressed and toasted the bride. As the guys were getting ready, Roy gave such wonderful, special rings to his groomsmen, the perfect additional accessory for the big day.
Dana dressed and had family photos taken wearing beautiful traditional Hanbok wedding attire before changing into her white wedding gown. Her gorgeous wedding gown was a classic fit and flare V-neck gown with dramatic, sheer straps. She was absolutely stunning! Her bridesmaids also wore very chic, white matching knee length dresses and carried such breathtaking creamy, pastel-colored bouquets from Floral Designs by Sofie.
The couple decided to have a first look, the coordinated meeting to see each other for the first time on the wedding day, before their ceremony began. We loved how Dana jumped for joy as Roy got his first look at his bride! You could see that they were both so excited and practically overwhelmed at the sight of each other! It would happen again as Dana walked down the aisle to meet Roy for their wedding ceremony.
Dana and Roy’s ceremony was held outdoors at Alpine Country Club, with a pond featuring a splashing fountain and the rolling greens as a backdrop. The two stood with their officiant under a beautiful arch crafted from branches with such lovely pink blossoms. Guests witnessed as the two recited the personal vows that they wrote for each other. We loved how Roy thanked his friend Crystal for introducing Dana to him and for noting that he was the luckiest man alive to be marrying Dana. It it was so sweet when Dana told Roy that she prayed for someone who had the same heart and that she would always be happy with him. It was hard for anyone not to cry when the two of them couldn’t hold back themselves during their vows.
After filming Dana and Roy with their bridal party and family during an additional photo shoot by the talented Michael Smith of Ash Imagery, it was time to head inside the historic country club’s banquet room for their joyous reception. Their toasts were all so personal and well written, you could tell they were all truly spoken from the heart.
After dinner, it was time to party! Elan Artists’ The Elements kept the house rockin’ and everyone on that dance floor! The evening’s events concluded with the traditional cake cutting and desserts, after which guests continued to dance and celebrate the marriage of two very special people.
Congratulations and best wishes to Dana and Roy! As stated so perfectly that evening in a toast, ‘Cheers to the next 70 years’!
