Shyanne and Christian aren't high school sweethearts, they're actually middle school sweethearts! The two met in their 8th grade homeroom and have been inseparable since then. Years together, growing in love, brings us to this very special day and the next big step in their relationship, their beautiful wedding day!
After hair and makeup was done at a salon, Shyanne traveled to her venue, touched up her makeup and got dressed into her gorgeous gown. Her fabulous ball gown sparkled throughout and had a set of lovely beaded spaghetti straps that fell beautifully off her shoulders. She completed her attire with a long veil for the ceremony and a glamorous crown for her hair. And her customized Nike's were fantastic! Shyanne truly was such a stunning bride!
Christian first prepared for the big day with his groomsmen at a private residence, then finished dressing at their venue. They all wore black tuxedos for the event, Christian in a black tie and white shirt while his party wore black shirts and white ties. What a fantastic modern look!
The two skipped a first look and saw each other for the first time at their ceremony. Both their ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful wedding venue, La Massaria at Bella Vista in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. This was our first time at this venue and it definitely didn't disappoint!
As a surprise for Christian, Shyanne had a voice recording she made played over the speaker for him as she entered the room for the ceremony. As you can see in their film highlight, it was a very emotional moment, as was their entire ceremony. There was not a dry eye in that house as they shared their personal vows. And at the conclusion of their ceremony, the two had two first kisses there as 'husband and wife'!
Photos were then taken outside at the wedding venue and we were so happy to be working once again alongside Daniel Fosse from Morby Photography for this wedding. He's such a pleasure to work with and his photos are always fantastic!
The wedding theme colors were black and white, with silver, gold and champagne rose accents found all throughout the reception space. Those lovely champagne rose accents matched perfectly with Shyanne's beautiful bridal party who wore the same warm color in their gowns. The floral centerpieces created by Scott Olson were incredible. And just like in their ceremony, Shyanne's late father's presence was lovingly included in their reception on this most important day.
Rev. Dr. David McKinley gave a blessing and led everyone in prayer before dinner. Then wonderful toasts were given by Christian, who thanked everyone for joining them in this celebration (and led everyone in singing 'Happy Birthday' to a family member!), by Shyanne's maid of honor and longtime friend, Sophia, and Christian's best man and brother, Marvin.
During the evening, Shyanne and Christian cut and tasted their beautiful three-tiered, gold-accented cake from Brooklyn Girl Bakery. Then Silver Sound Entertainment kept guests out on the dance floor the whole night! It really was such a fun party!
From start to finish, this was such a delightful wedding and it was a true joy to film Shyanne and Christian's day. We wish them a love to last a lifetime and all the happiness in the world!
